Brandon Heath
When I was around 12 or 13, I was into some pretty lame stuff. I was too old for teddy bears, yet I wouldn't let my mom get rid of ANY of them. They ended up just sitting in a garbage bag at the back of a closet for 7 years until just the other day when we were spring cleaning and mom found them. I told her she could sell all of them. I remember when she actually DID get rid of them and donated them to the Legion Garage Sale in town here. This was back in the day when I made $10/month allowance and $2/hour babysitting. I took a wopping fifteen bucks to the sale and bought all my stuffed animals back. Yea. I bought my own toys with all my savings. Then I didnt even use them haha.
I only have two left now. One is a monkey, one of five Build-a-Bears that me and my friends all got on Brenna's 14th birthday at West Edmonton Mall. I'm not keeping it because that trip was the best time of my life or anything, more because of the wish that I made on its heart (You know how you have to like kiss a little heart and make a wish on it before you stuff it into your animal at that place? So "special" haha geez.) I wished that me and that group of friends would be friends forever. Haha, I guess all wishes don't come true. Actually, quite the opposite came true and I don't even talk to the two I was closest with back then. And the second one is probably the ugliest one I had. Its a small tiger with thread spaced out to look like fur. Its face isnt even cute haha. Back in the same day when me and my siblings didn't have jobs and only made allowance, my brother came back from Saskatoon with it and gave it to me. It cost him fourteen bucks.
At this point in my life, I also tried things like Nexopia (my mom made me delete it as soon as she found out, I tried really really hard to keep it a secret from her), Myspace, MSN and those board game -computer games that came inside cereal boxes (mostly LIFE but I guess I tried others too haha). But the one that I just can't wrap my head around is the cyber doll dress up one. You picked a body and a face, and then chose shirts and pants or skirts or dresses and just placed them over the body. I made HUNDREDS of those and spend countless hours at the home computer just making different combos. If you know me, I've never been big into fashion ESPECIALLY when I was that age! haha So it boggles me why I was so entertained by that, but moreso, I still scratch my head at how I actually ENJOYED it.
Ever had a Chiapet? I kinda want one.

Accurate Face
At my house, we go through probably a jug of milk every day or so. My bro chugs that down like he's getting paid. So when I have to get up and work in the morning, and there's no eggo's, bread or eggs, I usually just grab cereal. Given that most times, Arlee finishes all the milk the night before, I pour a bowl of honeycombs and go to find milk and there is none! So I'm forced to eat a dry bowl of cereal for breakfast, and wash it down with water - not the most appetizing way to start off the day. So this is going to be a blog about creative ways to eat a bowl of milkless cereal.
1. Water
2. Juice
3. Coconut milk
4. Bacon Grease
5. Ice Tea
6. Dr. Pepper
7. Beer
9. Jello
10. Ice
11. Whiskey
So I get the feeling that not one of these would be a good substitute for milk on cereal. Except for maybe Jello. One day I'll make Jello-Cereal Shots and serve them at a party maybe.

Wootwoot Skydreamz "likes" that Status..
Whats happening in my life you ask? Not really much of anything. Just thought I would recap my may long for the record
My hometown crew (minus a few) went camping! We merged with Bryna's crew and had quite alot of fun. And had quite a lot of beers. Unlike last May Long, when we all woke up in the middle of a blizzard, the weather was perfect right up until the last day when everyone packed up and went home.
Things never to forget about this May Long Weekend:
1. Lee turning 19 and being ridiculously drunk, looking after him and helping him use the bathroom hahaha
2. Watching Jenna and Kirstyn swim across the lake and flipping the boat that came to save them
3. The mass fight (literally everyone around me was fighting)
4. Breaking up the mass fight by fighting with Bryna and drawing attention to ourselves hahaha
5. Jenna drunkenly asking the campsite owner to play beer darts with us
6. Riding in the back of Tanners truck, under a tent because we had to relocate
7. Playing tackle football and loosing :(
8. The Hilburg group all fist pumping, drinking beer and singing on top of a lone picnic table in the middle of an open feild
9. Tits out for the Boys (Not what it sounds like haha)
10. All 9 of us in the tent snuggling as close as possible to keep warm at night and all diving out of the tent in the morning because it was so hot. Then conveniently taking a dip in the icy lake shortly after
11. Learning what Case Darts is
12. Only eating burgers for four days straight
13. Cooking those burgers on Kirstyn's tiny gas grill, and flipping them with a melting plastic knife and a Dairy Queen spoon (possibly used?)
14. Tanners repetative playlist that made me sick of I'm Hungover, Farmers Daughter, and Honeybee
15. Earning the nickname Honey Suckle for no reason at all
16. Making Lelelelele catch on
17. MIGHTY DUCKS MIGHTY DUCKS
18. Beersbee
19. Getting repeatedly told to stop swearing so loudly
20. Looking forward to living with Bryna, Kirstyn and Jenna more and more!
And there you have it! My weekend summed up in 20 things.
It kind of reminds me of the song we wrote in grade ten about the long weekend. Theres still a recording of it on my old phone! Yep, it was just us and the guy from the Northern Pikes.
There's a medal that I dont deserve hanging on my bulletin board.

Why Do People Make Music Video's out of SIMS on Youtube? It looks dumb.
Sixth time's a charm! Hopefully.. Let's see if I can finally get through this blog. It's only going to get longer if I procrastinate more.
Ok, so what can I tell you about my second semester in university? Well, it started out SUPER FUN, turns out my work load for the second half of the year was about half the size of the one before, and I fully took advantage of that. EVERY WEEKEND for the first two months, I went out and did something. I think I only sat and studied for a total of two weekends before finals finally put my partying to rest for a month. I hope Future Jory will remember the trip to Fish&Game dance we went to in Blaine Lake (Actually it was in Leask, but Blaine Lake is so much cooler because that's where Polly Wilson died.) We took the Death Trap up there, it completely iced over all the windows, we had maybe 30% visibility haha. We ALL wore plaid and two stepped all night, Dan stole a duck from one of the tacky candle stick holders and I pulled drink tickets for a bunch of friends given that they were all still too young :(. lol We went to a house party after that and decided it was too lame (actually we got kicked out but whatever.) so we went back to Farkys house where we were staying, but not before Bryna could puke out the door instead of in the bucket she was holding (:S haha) and narrowly avoiding getting pulled over by the cops, although the boys did! Anyway we had a great night, and learned an important lesson; Baby Duck is a horrible idea.
Just thought I should add that in the morning we had races sliding down the stairs haha
Other weekends included our "Fancy" bar night where the Fab Five all wore dresses (I know, someone should have been taking pictures because it might be some time before that ever happens again haha). That was fun, except that we decided to go to Tequilla's which was a horrible idea, I hate that bar, its so awful. And none of us thought to bring coats, even though it was -30 that night. We thought we would walk to Outlaws, which is ONLY five blocks away. Haha luckily a cab full of creepies picked us up after half a block and we got a free lift, and some guy gave me his jacket while we were waiting in line haha. A few other bar nights that were fun.
In January we also went to Wilkie to play in a volleyball tourney! It was a pretty good time, made some new friends and got to catch up with old ones like Jordan, Lee, Tanner and Thad. We even ended up getting second place! How the hell that happened I will never know haha. Slept over at Brynas house, but not before having a big heart to heart with Brandyn and blowing off Thad and Lee who were lost and got pulled over haha.
Uh, lets see, what else happened.. There was a res luow .. I just have no idea how to spell that word. But it was lots of fun, everyone dressed up in shorts and their shower flip flops haha. We went home for a couple of weekends here and there and man it seemed like we went to the bar every time, and its not that I dont like hanging out with my friends, but I just got so sick of bars after a while, I just wanted to hang out in someones basement and talk about whats been going on in our lives.
Finals went good, some of my final marks even boosted my grades! I came out with a lower average than I wanted but oh well, 86 IN ENGLISH!!! haha Just made my whole day when I finally saw my marks. Moving out of res was different, I can't believe I'll never be going back there again. It was so handy being right beside everything and being able to nap at any time of the day. Oh well, I am STOKED to be living with three of my best friends in the fall. The house is beautiful, minus its faulty deck haha but that can be covered up with some patio lanterns, because what doesnt get better when you add patio lanterns to it? Right. Nothing. haha
And now here I am back at home after all that. I thought that maybe I would be bored here, but I haven't really even got to sit down since I got back! I wasted so much time in university passing up offers to play sports or do things with my friends in anticipation of studying, and then I would'nt get around to it, so it basically was just time that was wasted. Anyway, I promised myself I wouldn't waste a moment this summer since last summer was kind of a bust. Since I got back, I've taken up Fusion, Adult Volleyball, and community soft ball, plus a job, plus work at the farm. So I'm booked solid all week until Friday. Which is nice, I get weekends off, or whatever off if I want.
My summer job hasn't really gotten hard yet. Its actually pretty ridiculously easy. Take today for example. I "practiced" driving tractor all day. Which I already knew how to do from discing for the past two summers. Anyway, yea, I drove tractor from 9:30 - 2:30 and then I came home. Thats including a lunch break. haha.
Uh anyway, this post really isn't my usual style, no random thoughts ect, but I thought I'd just get this one over with so I can do other ones. It's done now! WOOO
I am bruised and scraped and cut up.

Catchy
Hi blog
I havent updated in a long time and for good reason - FINALS! I'm not even stressed. In fact, tomorow I have an english final at 2 that I've hardly looked at and I'm not even worried! Hmm maybe I should be..
Anyway. Its my third last night in rez, I thought I would be sad, but truth is the only part of rez that I'l actually miss is the friends I've made.
On a side note, WTF people who use public bathrooms! Just because a toilet has a piece of toilet paper in it does not mean you need to flush it before you do your business. That's just a waste of water. THINK OF THE DETERIORATING ENVIRONMENT. That's just been heavy on my chest for a while - feels good to get it off! haha
Maybe tomorrow after I write my last exam I'll post another blog talking about my first year memories and regrets. I'll start brainstorming for it now and keep a list handy.
Hmm, not much else I want to talk about today.. it rained and smelled awesome.

Sunshine
Bloggity!
I have maybe walked by people maybe 12345678902345678345678934567843234567865324567876543456789 times in my life. And I still feel like I can't walk by a stranger without feeling completely awkward! Like what do you do? Do you smile at them? But then all of a sudden their wondering why your smiling at them and your wondering if your smiling like a creep, which you probably are. If I walk by someone without acknowledging them I just feel rude and they probably think I am. If you just walk by someone and make eye contact then it just gets awkward. Then there are those people who see you coming and stare at the floor or turn their head completely away from you as if their really interested with their feet or whatever is out the window. These people annoy me. WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE AWKWARDNESS AND YOU GET TO ESCAPE IT SO EASILY?? It's not fair, thus there should be a rule dictating how people look at eachother when they pass. Everyone should just smile because then no one feels stupid and everyone feels good!
Right now I'm sitting outside of Thorv on a stone wall and just writing. Its so nice outside but my ass is getting kind of cold. Everyones walking with their faces turned to see the world instead of down at the groudn like they usually do in the winter. It just makes me happy. Every once and a while you can see a pair of profs walking together just laughing. I feel their happiness, I'm happy too! Even though I could be using this time to study. Oh well. GuessI should go to class now. Sorry about the lack of pictures in my blog lately, I've just been so un-bored that I haven't found time. I'll do it next time I promise!

Bleh
Ever find your brain just flip flopping lol cant make up your mind
I was sitting at my desk and I was thinking, "If I died tomorow, would I be satisfied with the life I've lived so far?" I think this thought passes through everyones mind once and a while. However my first thought was fairly pessimistic. I thought about all the days in high school, when I had TONS of free times on my hands, that I just sat at home and barely did anything. Or all the hours I wasted away in front of facebook. Or all those times I didn't go out with friends or didn't just appreciate my surroundings. I was thinking specifically about how I skipped out on CK grad last year because I was just too tired. Or how I didn't go camping last summer because it didn't fit into my calendar. I started feeling pretty sorry for myself, but then I took a different approach to my life.
I've experienced more things in my life than the average person- I've seen four provinces of Canada, Discovered I had a love for the ocean and everything in it. Though I don't do it all the time, I set aside time to just take a drive to the lake or a walk around town just so I can take it all in. Do you ever have those moments where you realize where you are and just make a mental note to remember that moment? It's funny because I have several of these moments locked in my memory. One is just walking down the street my house is on in my home town when it was foggy and everything was covered in hoar frost. You feel so completely isolated, like no one could see you even if they wanted to.
I think back to all the times I went out with friends and all the sports I played, all the fundraisers, drama productions, and volunteer things I did. I keep reflecting back on those time when me and a group of people I hardly knew would get together and go to a camp, or go to YC or SLC or National SADD or Feildtrips and come back like we've known eachother for years. And then all the family events I went to, all the times I went camping with my family and all the family suppers we just randomly had because we can.
I think about all this and realize I've lead an extremely full life, and althought sometimes I feel like I am not really living my life to its fullest, chances are, I won't die tomorow and can do something with my life.
