Hi blog
I havent updated in a long time and for good reason - FINALS! I'm not even stressed. In fact, tomorow I have an english final at 2 that I've hardly looked at and I'm not even worried! Hmm maybe I should be..
Anyway. Its my third last night in rez, I thought I would be sad, but truth is the only part of rez that I'l actually miss is the friends I've made.
On a side note, WTF people who use public bathrooms! Just because a toilet has a piece of toilet paper in it does not mean you need to flush it before you do your business. That's just a waste of water. THINK OF THE DETERIORATING ENVIRONMENT. That's just been heavy on my chest for a while - feels good to get it off! haha
Maybe tomorrow after I write my last exam I'll post another blog talking about my first year memories and regrets. I'll start brainstorming for it now and keep a list handy.
Hmm, not much else I want to talk about today.. it rained and smelled awesome.

Sunshine
Bloggity!
I have maybe walked by people maybe 12345678902345678345678934567843234567865324567876543456789 times in my life. And I still feel like I can't walk by a stranger without feeling completely awkward! Like what do you do? Do you smile at them? But then all of a sudden their wondering why your smiling at them and your wondering if your smiling like a creep, which you probably are. If I walk by someone without acknowledging them I just feel rude and they probably think I am. If you just walk by someone and make eye contact then it just gets awkward. Then there are those people who see you coming and stare at the floor or turn their head completely away from you as if their really interested with their feet or whatever is out the window. These people annoy me. WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE AWKWARDNESS AND YOU GET TO ESCAPE IT SO EASILY?? It's not fair, thus there should be a rule dictating how people look at eachother when they pass. Everyone should just smile because then no one feels stupid and everyone feels good!
Right now I'm sitting outside of Thorv on a stone wall and just writing. Its so nice outside but my ass is getting kind of cold. Everyones walking with their faces turned to see the world instead of down at the groudn like they usually do in the winter. It just makes me happy. Every once and a while you can see a pair of profs walking together just laughing. I feel their happiness, I'm happy too! Even though I could be using this time to study. Oh well. GuessI should go to class now. Sorry about the lack of pictures in my blog lately, I've just been so un-bored that I haven't found time. I'll do it next time I promise!

On a side note, I came back and added pictures to the ones that were deficient in them because I'm putting off writing a huge catch up blog.

Bleh
Ever find your brain just flip flopping lol cant make up your mind
I was sitting at my desk and I was thinking, "If I died tomorow, would I be satisfied with the life I've lived so far?" I think this thought passes through everyones mind once and a while. However my first thought was fairly pessimistic. I thought about all the days in high school, when I had TONS of free times on my hands, that I just sat at home and barely did anything. Or all the hours I wasted away in front of facebook. Or all those times I didn't go out with friends or didn't just appreciate my surroundings. I was thinking specifically about how I skipped out on CK grad last year because I was just too tired. Or how I didn't go camping last summer because it didn't fit into my calendar. I started feeling pretty sorry for myself, but then I took a different approach to my life.
I've experienced more things in my life than the average person- I've seen four provinces of Canada, Discovered I had a love for the ocean and everything in it. Though I don't do it all the time, I set aside time to just take a drive to the lake or a walk around town just so I can take it all in. Do you ever have those moments where you realize where you are and just make a mental note to remember that moment? It's funny because I have several of these moments locked in my memory. One is just walking down the street my house is on in my home town when it was foggy and everything was covered in hoar frost. You feel so completely isolated, like no one could see you even if they wanted to.
I think back to all the times I went out with friends and all the sports I played, all the fundraisers, drama productions, and volunteer things I did. I keep reflecting back on those time when me and a group of people I hardly knew would get together and go to a camp, or go to YC or SLC or National SADD or Feildtrips and come back like we've known eachother for years. And then all the family events I went to, all the times I went camping with my family and all the family suppers we just randomly had because we can.
I think about all this and realize I've lead an extremely full life, and althought sometimes I feel like I am not really living my life to its fullest, chances are, I won't die tomorow and can do something with my life.
